The hooby.blog goes live
It took me all afternoon, but after a fair bit of fiddling I now got a fully running Jekyll installation. Which means I now only have to write markdown files to more add posts to this blog. Sure, I could instead have gotten a managed Wordpress installation from my hoster at no extra cost. But I don’t much fancy Wordpress. This here feels a lot more like my style - generating static html from markdown files. Love it.
Now, the idea here is, to rescue posts previously found in the #community-forum section of the official Stars Reach Discord server. I will also backdate these to the day and time of their original first publication - so while this is technically the first post on this blog - older post predating this one will be added later. More like “foward to the past” then “back to the future”, I guess?
While Stars Reach might end up a big focus of this blog, I’m probably also gonna post on more general game design topics, and maybe also comment on going-ons in the video game industry. I don’t have a clear plan yet, but we will see.
